Direct Support Professional (DSP/CNA) - Aurora, IL (51604)

Join us at Association for Individual Development as a Direct Support Professional (DSP/CNA) in Aurora, IL. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with various challenges to live dignified and purposeful lives.

Benefits include:

  • $1,000 Sign-on Bonus
  • Full-time benefits: 21 days paid time off, 10 paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision/life insurance, STD, LTD, critical illness, accident insurance, 401K with 3.5% match

Schedule: Regular hours Thursday 9:00pm-9:00am, Friday 9:00pm-10:00am, Saturday 9:00pm-10:00am, with differential pay for evening, overnight, and enhanced support locations.

Responsibilities include: Implementing individualized strategies, documenting services, ensuring client rights and safety, working with clients with behavioral challenges, and providing personal care as needed.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, CNA or Autism Certification preferred, experience with developmentally disabled adults is a plus.

Physical and equipment requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass literacy and training requirements, valid Illinois driver’s license, access to personal vehicle and cell phone.
