Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Oak Island, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Abound Health has been serving the I/DD space for over 20 years. As a DSP, you will build positive relationships, promote independence, and support clients in daily tasks, community activities, and skill development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – paid training provided.

Responsibilities

Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver – Oak Island, NC

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $16.00-17.00/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus –Oak Island

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals

Pay & Signing Bonus

• Starting Pay: $-/hour
• $1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
