Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and maintain documentation.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care and supervision in a residential home environment.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring per care plans and policies.
• Support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Promote independence and participation in daily activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
• Complete accurate daily documentation and report changes in health or behavior.
• Follow individualized service plans and organizational policies.

Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide individualized care and support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities in a residential home setting.

The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and committed to promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

Available Shifts

• Monday-Friday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM


• Saturday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision in a residential home environment.


• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Support meal preparation, personal hygiene, and light housekeeping.


• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.


• Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring in accordance with care plans and company policies.


• Support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.


• Promote independence and participation in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred.

• Ability to perform essential physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.


• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
