Dungarvin is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, or medical needs. No experience is required as paid training is provided.

The role focuses on empowering clients to live as independently as possible with dignity and respect. You will work with a compassionate team, perform daily living tasks, and help clients achieve personal goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License required for transporting persons served.
• Successful background clearance required during onboarding.
• Ability to document care and follow support plans using appropriate tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as mobility, dressing, bathing, toileting, and housekeeping.

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, housekeeping, laundry and more.

No Experience? We provide the necessary paid training and hands-on experience.
