Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours per week.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – $16.00-18.00-/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus –(Paid throughout the year. Must Avg 20 hours per Week to qualify for Bonus.)

As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do

As a DSP, you will provide hands‑on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence. Being a DSP is a rewarding experience – you will genuinely make a difference in somebody’s life. Responsibilities will include:

• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required – we provide paid training and support

Pay & Signing Bonus

Starting Pay: $16.00-18.00-/hour

$1,000 signing bonus paid in 3 installments when averaging 20+ hours/week
