Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team in Toledo, OH and the surrounding areas. This flexible role offers full-time or part-time positions with a wage of $17.25–$18.25 per hour and includes training provided in full.

No prior experience is required. We provide CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration training, plus a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid (Ohio) driver’s license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
