Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks a reliable Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Day hab program. Day hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm and Friday 9am-2pm, with weekly compensation starting at $18 per hour.

Responsibilities include promoting growth, implementing activities, assisting with nutrition and meds as needed, and transporting clients to appointments as required.

Qualifications

• CPR, First Aid, and TB clearance required.
• AMAP and SCIP are preferred but not required.
• Must pass mandated clearances.

Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm Friday 9am-2pm

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
• Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
• Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications (as needed)
• Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid Driver's License (not required but helpful)
• Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be comfortable toileting.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) not required but helpful.
• AMAP(Approved Medication Administration Personnel) not required but helpful.
