Job summary

Heartland Industries in Redwood Falls, MN is seeking Direct Support Professionals for part-time roles (less than 30 hours per week) to support individuals with disabilities and help them gain skills and meaningful employment.

You will work alongside persons with disabilities, complete daily progress notes and program goal charting, and safely transport clients as needed. Driving and a valid license are required; background checks and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a background check and complete required training.
• Part-time schedule under 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside persons with disabilities to obtain and keep meaningful employment within the community.
• Complete accurate charting and document all client information daily (progress notes, goal charting, communications).
• Safely transport clients as needed.

Position Details

At Heartland Industries- Direct Support Professional must be caring, compassionate, flexible, and have great people skills to support individuals with disabilities by modeling behaviors to help them gain skills and maintain employment.

• Requirements: Driving, days, and weekends are required. Must be 21 or older and have a Driver's License/No driving violations in the past 3 years. Must be able to pass a background check. All required training will be provided.
