Kaleidoscope Family Solutions Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with brain injuries, disabilities, and mental health in Natick, MA. You will provide in-home support, help with daily activities, and promote community engagement.

The role offers flexible hours between 8 AM and 4 PM on weekdays, a $19–$23 hourly pay range based on experience, mileage reimbursement, and a sign-on bonus. Training may occur during onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS Diploma with 2+ years of relevant community-based experience.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a suitable vehicle.
• Background check and health screening required; CPR/First Aid may be obtained during onboarding.

Responsabilités

Role Description

This is a part-time position with available cases in the Natick MA area. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will assist individuals with brain injuries, disabilities, and mental health conditions in their daily activities, support community integration, and provide ongoing care. Daily responsibilities may include offering personal care and fostering meaningful interpersonal connections.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one-on-one in-home services to individual(s).
• Support individuals in everyday activities at home and in the community, helping them build skills and confidence.
• Assist with grocery shopping, doctor's appointments, and other outings, providing transportation and companionship.
• Collaborate with individuals to implement support strategies that align with their interests and personal goals, including physical activities and community engagement.
• Aid individuals in completing housing applications and accessing government assistance programs.
• Help with monthly budgeting and effective household management for daily necessities.
• Complete and submit accurate daily progress notes to track each individual's growth and development.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) WITH at least 2 years of relevant community-based experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Access to a personal vehicle that is suitable for transporting individuals.
• Interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, provide a driving record, complete a health screening, and submit any required onboarding documentation.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required but may be acquired during onboarding process.
• Must be available to work at least 4 hours on weekdays, between 8 AM and 4 PM, with flexible hours. No overnight shifts available.
