Alliance Adult Care Services in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, assisting with daily living activities and promoting independence.

You will join a compassionate team, follow individualized care plans, document progress, and help clients participate in activities, transportation, and community engagement. Training is provided; prior experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Criminal Clearance within 1 year.
• Reliable transportation and PA driver’s license preferred; insured vehicle.
• Willing to complete mandated training and maintain 24 hours/year of training.
• Willing to work at various locations with individuals who have different disabilities.
• Ability to transfer one person safely.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills; strong communication.
• CPR/AED certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and assistance with daily activities (meals, bathing, dressing, hygiene).
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
• Facilitate recreational and social activities to promote skill development and community engagement.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Monitor and document clients’ progress and health for care team communication.
• Collaborate with family and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
• Be a dependable companion and advocate to help clients maximize independence.

• 7AM-3PM.
• 3PM-11PM.
• 7am-7pm.
• 7pm-7am.

Salary Information

$17 - $22Hourly Wage

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• 1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2. Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• 3. Criminal Clearance requirement less than 1 year old.
• 4. Properly insured vehicle and a valid license to drive in the state of PA (preferred) Reliable transportation is a MUST.
• 5. Candidates must be able and willing to complete Agency required training, maintain 24 hours of training per calendar year as required by Agency and Licensing standards.
• 6. Candidates must be able and willing to work at various locations with individuals with various disabilities/diagnosis.
• 7. Candidate must be physically able to complete one person transfers.
• 8. Candidate must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and adequate written and verbal communication skills.
• 9. Physical Exam with TB test and results less than 1 year old.
• 10. CPR/AED Certification less than 1 year old.

All Shifts OPEN! Monday through Friday Full time shifts Available:

7am-3pm. 3pm-11pm. 3-11pm-7am.

SAT-SUN 7am-7pm. 7pm-7am.
