Job summary
Alliance Adult Care Services in Monroeville, PA, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time shifts across multiple schedules (7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, 7AM-7PM, 7PM-7AM). The DSP will provide hands-on daily living assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Criminal clearance within 1 year.
- Reliable transportation with valid PA driver’s license (preferred).
- Must complete agency training and maintain 24 hours of training per year.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on care with daily living activities (meal prep, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene).
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment where clients feel valued.
- Facilitate recreational and social activities to promote skills and engagement.
- Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
- Monitor and document client progress and communicate with the care team.
- Collaborate with family and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans.
- Be a dependable companion and advocate, helping clients maximize independence.

$17 - $22Hourly Wage
- 1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 2. Possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- 3. Criminal Clearance requirement less than 1 year old.
- 4. Properly insured vehicle and a valid license to drive in the state of PA (preferred) Reliable transportation is a MUST.
- 5. Candidates must be able and willing to complete Agency required training, maintain 24 hours of training per calendar year as required by Agency and Licensing standards.
- 6. Candidates must be able and willing to work at various locations with individuals with various disabilities/diagnosis.
- 7. Candidate must be physically able to complete one person transfers.
- 8. Candidate must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and adequate written and verbal communication skills.
- 9. Physical Exam with TB test and results less than 1 year old.
- 10. CPR/AED Certification less than 1 year old.
