Job summary

BAYADA Habilitation in Erie, PA is hiring DSP / Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care in home and community settings, helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their full potential. This part-time role offers flexible daytime shifts, paid training, and a 1-day orientation.

You’ll support everyday tasks, accompany clients to activities and appointments, and work within a caring team that values respect, growth, and community involvement. Join us!

Qualifications

• One year experience working with intellectual and development disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Ability to transport clients to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Spend time on the client's favorite hobbies and activities.
• Support the client's goals towards independence in the home and community.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Participate in community integration activities to focus on socialization.

BAYADA Habilitation is currently seeking DSP / Direct Support Professionals to join the team in Erie County, PA. BAYADA’s DSP / Direct Support Professionals work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. We are part-time and provide flexibility with scheduling through various shift locations and times throughout Erie, PA. We have paid training and only a 1-day orientation.

The majority of our hours are weekday, dayshifts. Urgently hiring!

Compensation & Schedule

• Competitive pay rates with a weekly pay schedule ($19.50 / hour +)
• Paid trainings and only a 1-day paid orientation!
• Flexible scheduling (part-time, daytime hours, various shifts)
• Short commute times (we match opportunities within 30 minutes near your home)
• Mileage reimbursement weekly
