Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services seeks compassionate caregivers in Dayton, OH. Training for this position is provided in full, so no prior experience is required.

The role focuses on direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities and maintaining a safe, supportive home environment. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Personal, reliable vehicle.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Providing personal care assistance.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.
