Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Chillicothe, OH. The role offers pay between $17.75 and $18.25 per hour with full-time benefits, including paid training and a path into healthcare.

No experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, and candidates must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license and vehicle. Responsibilities include direct care, promoting independence and safety, and helping with daily tasks in a supportive home setting.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Requirements for this position include:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insuranc e.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
