Job summary

Community Access Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities, helping them live independently in Beavercreek. Part-time roles include paid training, ongoing support, and clear opportunities for career growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a national background check.
• Ability to become an approved company driver.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility.
• Experience in caregiving, healthcare, behavioral health, childcare, or human services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible.
• Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, personal care, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community outings, appointments, recreation, and personal goals.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and skill development.
• Administer medications and complete documentation accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
• Advocate for the choices, dignity, and well-being of the people you support.

What Does a Direct Support Professional Do?

As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live as independently as possible while building meaningful relationships.
