Job summary

ASG Home Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. This role focuses on one‑on‑one support that promotes independence under each person's ISP.

You will work in home and community settings, documenting services and communicating with the care team, while building strong, meaningful relationships with clients. Flexible hours and local cases are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
