Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one home and community support for individuals with developmental disabilities. DSPs follow each person’s Individualized Service Plan (ISP) in home and community settings.

We offer flexible hours, local cases across New Jersey, and a supportive team focused on success. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain is required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
