Job summary

Brandi's Hope Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with developmental disabilities in a supportive, engaging environment. You will provide daily assistance in activities, self-care, and community participation while maintaining safety and dignity.

Position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable work experience in the last three years.
• Valid driver's license to transport clients as needed.
• Current CPR training required.
• Background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to individuals with varying degrees of development/intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with job supports, self-care, recreational activities and community inclusion.
• May transport clients to appointments or assist with feeding and hygiene.
• Duties discussed with employer and assigned by supervisor.
