Favarh – The Arc of the Farmington Valley is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in Canton and Avon, CT. As a DSP, you will play a direct and meaningful role in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) by promoting independence, community engagement, and personal growth.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in Human Services preferred.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License with at least 3 years of history.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
• Willing to travel between Avon and Canton, CT.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respectful support for individuals with I/DD in program and community settings.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene as needed.
• Plan and facilitate engaging enrichment programs and community outings.
