Job summary

New Horizons, Serving Individuals with Special Needs, seeks a dedicated Day Program Instructor in Glendale, California. In this role, you will provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them develop essential life skills.

No prior experience is necessary as we are willing to train the right candidate. This part-time position offers 30 to 32 hours a week with competitive pay ranging from $21.00 to $21.50 per hour.

Part-time employees are eligible for benefits including Medical, Vision, and Dental.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid California Driver's License.
• Legally driving for at least 3 years in the United States.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Armenian is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Driving required. Must be willing to drive an 8-passenger van.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid California Driver's License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
• Legally driving for at least 3 years in the United States
• Must successfully pass all pre‑employment requirements, including background check, drug screening, and physical
• Experience with special needs / developmental disabilities is a plus
