Community Living, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional for our Day Habilitation program. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, implement individualized plans, and promote wellbeing through training and coaching in daily living skills.

Shift is full-time, 35 hours weekly, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm. Pay rate is $20 per hour. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required beyond meeting basic prerequisites and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must meet prerequisites for employment: Criminal Background Check, Division of Aging Employee Disqualification List, valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, able to drive a large van and pass defensive driving course

Responsabilités

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in Day Habilitation, implementing individualized support plans and teaching life skills.
• Provide training, coaching, and assistance to clients in daily living activities.
• Assist with transporting clients, personal care, and completing/maintaining reports; assist in meal preparation and center cleanliness.

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the Day Habilitation program, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities that require protective oversight, behavioral support or assistance with the activities of daily living. In this role, you will work to implement individualized support plans, promote the wellbeing of our clients, and provide training, coaching, and assistance to clients in teaching life skills. Additionally, you can expect to assist with transporting clients, providing personal care needs, completing and maintaining reports, assisting in meal preparation, and maintaining the cleanliness of the center.

The Day Habilitation program is a Monday - Friday, day program. Currently there are full time hours available.

Full Time: 35 Hrs. Monday through Friday 9am-4pm

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
