Job summary

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is seeking dedicated and responsible staff to work with individuals who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities living in Brooklyn, Queens, Lower East Side, Far Rockaway and Long Island. Shifts include Day, evening and overnights, with substitute positions available.

Responsibilities include supporting daily living activities, accompanying individuals to medical appointments, assisting with meals, and providing companionship to foster

Qualifications

• Motivated candidate with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to individuals promoting meaningful outcomes.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak and write in English.
• Valid NY or NJ driver's license for some positions.

Shifts available include Day, evening and overnights. Substitute positions available.

• Assisting with preparing and serving meals
• Providing companionship while engaging in productive activities which help to foster independence and community engagement

Salary: Day/ Afternoon/Evening Shift $18.30 per hour

Overnight Shift $18.05 per hour
