Job summary

Allies Inc. is seeking a Community Support Staff in New Jersey to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities, health and safety, and community integration.

You will administer medications, document procedures, and support ISP goals with a focus on dignity and respect. Responsibilities include transporting individuals to appointments, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and completing required trainings such as CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance with daily living skills with respect and dignity.
• Administers medication and documents administration according to procedures.
• Completes ISP-related training and tracking.
• Maintains required in-house documentation (vehicle logs, ISP tracking, MAIR, UI/GERs, etc.).
• Attends trainings including CPR/First Aid and other required certifications.
• Accompanies individuals to appointments and activities.
• Supports development of self-esteem and social connections.
• Operates agency vehicles as needed.
• Participates in team meetings and supports treatment planning.
