Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Seek out opportunities for community/social integration
  • Help consumers plan and prepare for fun events and outings
  • Assist with self-care: dressing, bathing, brushing teeth, toileting, shaving
  • Medication administration
  • Meal preparation and planning
  • Transportation of consumers
  • Follow individual service plans
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions/Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as twisting, turning, squatting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing from high/low positions, raising arms above shoulders, walking, sitting, climbing stairs, and using hands and fingers
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Basic reading, writing, and internet navigation skills
