Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. The role includes assisting with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay is $20–$25 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.

• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed.

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You’ll Do
