Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma.
• Requires RBT certification.
• At least 1 year working in behavioral health/IDD or related field.
• Strong communication and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Counsel individuals on behavioral concerns and basic decision-making.
• Provide transportation for individuals to appointments and activities.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as washing clothes, dishes, dusting, and cleaning.
• Implement interventions from the Behavior Support Plan to prevent challenging behaviors and ensure safety.
• Utilize de-escalation strategies to reduce and prevent harmful behaviors.
• Coordinate crisis management approaches with the Behavior Analyst and facility staff.
