Resolute Care, LLC. is seeking an Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional to join our team. You will care for individuals with disabilities, help with hygiene, light housekeeping, and errands, and dispense medications to improve the client’s living environment and independence.

The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable, with the ability to work overnight and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

We are seeking an Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional to join our team at Resolute Care, LLC. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of individuals and people with disabilities, by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable. As an employee in direct care, you will have direct contact and assist people who need support to lead more independent lives.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Compliance with overnight check in system
• Ability to maintain alertness & observance throughout entirety of shift
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Effectively practice person centered planning.
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping activities
• Dispense medication
• Provide companionship
• Assist with errands and shopping
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
• First aid and CPR certified is a plus
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
• Communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Make decisions and complete tasks with little or no supervision.
• Respond to changing situations in a flexible manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Read, write and speak the English language.

Desired Experience/Requirements:

• Compassionate, respectful, ethical
• High school degree or GED preferred.
• Valid and current Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record.
