Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Rio Linda, CA, is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities while promoting health, safety and well-being in a person-centered environment.

This full-time night shift (Wednesday–Saturday 10:00 PM–12:00 AM) offers an hourly rate of $17.00–$19.00, depending on certifications and role. The organization emphasizes a mission-driven approach with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire).
• Obtain your RBT within the 1st Year of Employment.
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a California Driver’s License.
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Education
