Job summary

WellLife Network in New York is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. You will assist with daily living, health needs, mobility, and community engagement; documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care & Daily Living Support: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; help with meals and home safety.
• Health & Wellness: administer medications as directed and accompany medical appointments.
• Mobility & Accessibility: assist with walking, transfers, and mobility aids.
• Behavioral & Emotional Support: use respectful strategies to support behaviors and promote independence.
• Community & Social Engagement: plan and participate in recreational and educational activities.
• Communication & Advocacy: help individuals express needs and advocate for services.
• Collaboration & Documentation: work with clinicians and team; maintain daily notes and reports in electronic systems.
