Job summary

A Shining Light, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and support daily living activities. You will help with ADLs, medication administration, meals, and engage clients in social activities while ensuring safety and compassion.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

Note: Prior experience in nursing homes, childcare, or assisted living facilities can be transferable skills for this position.

We utilize a 6-week rotation schedule for full time employees:

  • Week 1: Monday and Tuesday off
  • Week 2: Tuesday and Wednesday off
  • Week 3: Wednesday and Thursday off
  • Week 4: Thursday and Friday off
  • Week 5: Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
  • Week 6: Saturday, Sunday and Monday off

All staff are required to work 4 hours on Thanksgiving and Christmas (to be paid for 8) and working any major holiday is compensated with a holiday bonus.

We are currently hiring for OVERNIGHTS, EVENING, and SPLIT (more evenings, some day)
