Job summary

Central-State-Community-Services-Inc in Tulsa, OK is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP). No prior experience needed; paid training will prepare you to assist adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in daily living activities and community engagement.

You will provide hands-on support, help with meals, transportation, documentation, and participate in activities. Flexible shifts: full-time or part-time, with weekday, overnight and weekend options; benefits after 60 days

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state requirements.
• Physically able to perform job duties and lift up to 25 pounds, with assistance up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with meal planning and preparation according to nutritional guidelines.
• Assist with medication administration under physician direction.
• Support community activities, volunteering, employment prep and leisure outings.
• Offer transportation assistance for work, therapy and recreation.
• Engage in activities such as games, reading, movies, and family visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress.
