Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Slippery Rock, PA to provide direct care and support with activities of daily living in a community-based setting. The role involves personal care, mobility assistance, and transportation, with paid training for those new to human services.

You’ll join a mission-driven team, with 6:30am–3:00pm shifts and rotating weekends, offering meaningful daily impact. No experience required—training is provided.

Qualifications

• A verifiable high school diploma or GED is required.
• A current and valid driver's license is required.
• Age 18 or older.
• No experience required – we provide paid training!

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support and transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well-being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.

Shifts available: First Shift, with rotating weekends,6:30am - 3:00pm/Sun., Mon. Wed.-Fri. one week; Mon.-Th. + Sat. the following week; weeks to rotate this schedule.
