Job summary

SCO in Ridge, NY is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support individuals with daily living activities and life skills development. You will transport clients to appointments, assist with personal care, and document care plans to ensure a safe, engaging environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, NYS driver’s license, AMAP/SCIP-R certifications, and strong communication skills. Experience with developmental disabilities or brain injuries is preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCIP-R and AMAP certifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
