Job summary

SCO Family of Service in New York is seeking a dedicated direct care professional to support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and life skills development. Responsibilities include medication administration (AMAP), transportation to appointments and activities, and maintaining detailed care documentation.

Travel up to 50% of the time, with a high school diploma and NYS driver’s license required. Certifications (SCIP-R, AMAP) preferred or obtainable through training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SCIP-R and AMAP certifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
