Job summary

Circle of Life is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join the Cass Lake team in the Park Rapids area. You will visit clients in their homes to help maintain independence and support daily living, providing compassionate, person-centered care.

You’ll build strong relationships with clients, report concerns to the designated coordinator, and help engage them in community activities to promote wellbeing and connectedness in their communities.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants need reliable transportation and are comfortable visiting clients in their home.
• Willing to provide transportation if necessary, must hold valid DL and current insurance.

Responsibilities

• Visiting clients in their homes and helping them maintain independence.
• Provide Direct Support to Clients, including personal care tasks as needed.
• Building relationships with clients and reporting concerns to the Coordinator.
• Supporting community engagement by participating in community events and activities.

Position Duties Include:

• Visiting clients in their homes and helping them maintain their independence. There really is no place like home! You'll be helping families in your community stay in their homes.
• Provide Direct Support to Clientsthis includes supporting the client in individualized goals, including personal care tasks such as helping client get in and out of bed, assisting with bathing/showering, and making sure their home is clean and safe.
• Building relationships with your clients and reporting any concerns to the Designated Coordinator.
• Supporting community engagementby attending community events, etc.
