FOCUS ON US is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in New Jersey. This community-based role involves assisting adults with intellectual and mental challenges in their homes, ensuring safety and a positive living environment.

You will work 1:1 with residents, supporting daily activities and promoting independence. Positions are in all New Jersey counties, with orientation at our Marlton office.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to residents in accordance with individual care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Engage in social and recreational activities to promote socialization.

Job Summary

We are seeking Patient, Compassionate, Responsible, Reliable and Dedicated (DSP's) individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals assisting and attempting to make a difference in the lives of Adults with Intellectual and Mental Challenges. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals living in their homes with a Person- Centered Mindset. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, ensuring resident safety and well-being, and promoting a positive living environment. Our Office is located in Marlton ,NJ , if hired you be required to come in for Orientation and any other trainings as required, other than that you will be working in the community at a location near you.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred
• Knowledge of resident rights regulations is a plus
• Ability to provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques
• Must have a Valid Driving Record
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
• Must be authorized to leagally work in the United States.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate documentation and records
