Job summary

Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team at our Mullica Hill program in NJ. This role involves night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with paid training provided. A Driver's license and HS diploma are required, and experience with individuals with IDD is preferred.

Compensation includes up to enhanced pay and benefits, with a strong emphasis on care and mentorship. The DSP helps residents achieve daily living skills, independence, and meaningful engagement,

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals in daily living activities.
• Assist residents with housekeeping, laundry, and daily routines.
• Supervise and mentor individuals under the House Manager’s oversight.
• Support independence and personal growth through ongoing encouragement.

Pay Rate- $18.13/hr or $20.13 with the selection of Enhanced Pay

Your work is performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager who reviews results through living area observation of activities in progress, residents’ responsiveness, inspection of living area, reports, and periodic meetings.
