Job summary

Accessible-Space in Mounds View, MN is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with disabilities live independently. This on-site, part-time role offers a compassionate work environment and the chance to make a meaningful difference every day.

You will provide personal care, assist with independent living skills, document communications, and accompany residents to appointments as needed. A background check and solid interpersonal skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
• A demonstrated customer-service approach to work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-motivate and effectively manage time and shift priorities.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the resident and provider. Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
• Must pass a background check and meet other employment requirements.
