Job summary

REM Community Services in Millville, NJ is hiring a Direct Support Professional for weekend 3p-11p shifts. You’ll help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living activities and community involvement, guided by Sevita’s mission.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 months in human services preferred; driver’s license and a vehicle are required. Excellent communication and compassionate care are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support participants with complex needs.
• Help participants achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Pay Rate: $19.71/hr

Location: Millville NJ 08332

Full Time: Weekend 3p-11p
