Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Augusta, NJ to support individuals with developmental disabilities in a group-home setting. You’ll assist with daily living needs, personal hygiene, and participate in activities that promote independence and well-being.

You’ll help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition while building trusting relationships, and you’ll work with a compassionate team to ensure safe, inclusive community participation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with 1 year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage participation in the community and everyday activities.
