Beacon Specialized Living in New Jersey is seeking a Day Program Professional to support adults in a structured daytime setting, lead engaging activities, and promote independence and community inclusion. You will implement individual service plans, monitor health and safety, and assist with personal care and medications (training provided).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• GED or High School Diploma.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured activities including social, recreational, and community-based programming.
• Support individuals in building independence, social skills, and daily living skills.
• Implement individual service plans and support progress toward personal goals.
• Ensure health, safety, and dignity of individuals during program hours, transportation, and community outings.
• Provide personal care and administer medications as needed (training provided).
• Promote inclusion and positive community engagement.
• Utilize crisis prevention and intervention strategies to support individuals safely.
• Complete required documentation including daily logs and incident reports.
• Transport individuals and supervise activities in community settings.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, organized home environment.

What You’ll Do as a Day Program Professional
