Job summary

Crest Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Mason City, IA. This part-time role offers a rotating 2-week schedule with shifts from early morning to late night. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, and traumatic brain injuries in a compassionate, person-centered home environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• At least one year of experience in a medical, caregiving, or healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Experience with catheter care and wound management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
• Provide support with medical-related care, including catheter placement, wound care, and basic health monitoring.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health, behaviors, or overall well-being.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community activities, and outings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members to provide comprehensive support.
• Encourage independence while supporting each individual's unique goals and needs.

What You'll Do
