Job summary

Lifesteps Inc in Butler, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with disabilities in a residential home setting. You will help with daily living activities, personal care, meals, transport, and companionship in a compassionate team.

We offer full-time hours with Daytime 7 am to 3 pm and Evening 3 pm to 11 pm, plus part-time options and paid training. No experience necessary; experience in home health or care is welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance.
• Must obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, meal prep, and transportation to appointments.
• Provide personal care assistance and support with daily tasks.
• Support residents with community outings and activities.

Direct Support Professionals(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Dutiescan include:

• Cooking and serving meals
