Job summary

OTB transportation is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with disabilities in Kentucky to live independently and participate in their communities. You will support daily living activities, transportation, health and safety, and community integration.

This role emphasizes person-centered care, documentation, and ongoing professional development to ensure respectful, rights-based support and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide transportation to appointments, work, community activities, and social events.
• Support individuals in developing life skills, such as budgeting, communication, and problem-solving.

• Administer medications and monitor health conditions as per prescribed guidelines.
• Ensure the client’s living environment is clean, safe, and conducive to their well-being.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, adhering to established protocols.
