Addus HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. Earn up to $15.68 per hour with flexible schedules, daily/weekly pay options, and benefits like travel reimbursement and direct deposit.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and monitoring medications (no administration). Must have a high school diploma or GED and pass a background check.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED and one year of in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication and well-organized, self-motivated.

Aufgaben

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary.
• Assist member with self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring).
• Observe and report changes in member's condition.

DSP Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.

DSP Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, and one year of in-home care services experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation, required for member transportation. A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and well-organized
• Comfortable using an electronic device.
