Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Hummelstown, PA. The role involves direct care support, personal care, and transportation assistance in a community-based setting. Training is provided, and the position offers meaningful work in human services.

Shifts are available for 1st shift (6:30am-3:00pm) with no weekends. A valid driver's license and 18+ years old are required. Up to $18/hr with an enhanced pay option is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Related direct care experience (DSP, CAN, HHA) preferred.
• Must have a desire to help others reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Support life skills development, including household tasks and social skills.
• Provide community support, transportation.
• Promote health, safety, and well‑being, including medication support (as trained).
• Complete required documentation, progress notes, and service logs.
