Job summary

Sevita is seeking a caring caregiver to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help with daily living activities, promote independence, and build meaningful relationships with participants.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient care and working under supervisors who support your wellbeing and development, with a strong focus on person-centered services and community participation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Provide compassionate care and help participants participate in community activities.
• Support participants with development goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Pay Rate: $9.00/hourly
