The role includes assisting clients with daily living activities, administering medications, and ensuring nutritional needs are met. Candidates should possess a HS Diploma or GED, with preferred experience providing direct services. Located in Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania, the position offers a starting salary of $19.00/hour and various benefits including medical, dental, and transportation plans.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• One year of experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons preferred.
• Preferred certifications include AMAP, SCIP‑R, CPR, First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide habilitation services to each client as prescribed in their service plans.
• Assist clients in skill development in activities of daily living.
• Administer medication to clients as assigned.
• Ensure clients’ nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diet.
• Report immediately any deficiencies in providing habilitation services.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $19.00/hr (minimum and maximum) – overtime eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide habilitation services to each client as prescribed in their service plans.


• Assist clients in skill development in activities of daily living, domestic living, recreation and socialization.


• Administer medication to clients as assigned, following management, medical and nursing policies.


• Ensure clients’ nutritional needs are met according to prescribed diet, and assist with feeding.


• Report immediately any deficiencies or inability to provide habilitation services, abuse, or facility problems, including safety issues.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.


• One year of experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons preferred.


• Preferred certifications: AMAP, SCIP‑R, CPR, First Aid.
