REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a compassionate caregiver in Ohio to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This part-time role requires a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle.

Shifts are 3pm-9pm on Wednesdays, 3pm-11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with weekend coverage as scheduled. Commitment to meaningful relationships, personal care, and community involvement is key.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, proof of education is required

Responsabilités

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Hire wage is $17 hourly

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita's insurability policy.

Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle is required.

Positions include weekend shifts as scheduled

3p-9p Wednesday, 3p-11p Friday and Saturday

What You'll Bring To Sevita

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent , proof of education is required
• Age Requirement: Minimum 18yrs of age
• Experience: Six months of experience Intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management

• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
