3M’s Services LLC in North Carolina is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide compassionate care for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will deliver direct care, de-escalation strategies, and support participation in social activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift and transfer individuals. Growth opportunities exist within a supportive team, with pay ranging from $14.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications or education in related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and the ability to implement them effectively.
• A valid Driver's License with reliable transportation and insurance to travel to client homes or community events.
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals as needed, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with commitment to providing care.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
